Webinar Recording of 18 Months In: How are Technical Tertiary Programs in LAC Responding to COVID-19?

In this webinar recorded on September 13, 2021, the Advance Program presented the results of a recent stakeholder consultation on the impacts of the pandemic on technical tertiary education programs in five countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The webinar also explored the opportunity that COVID-19 presented for the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica to pivot to a joint distance and online education platform. José Luis Guzman, an education expert affiliated with UNESCO and FEPADE, concluded by reflecting on regional higher education in the pandemic era and what institutions need to thrive in the current environment.
